Archivio Casanova

2018 - 2019 / Material: PVC Banners

The exploration of situated knowledge, stories and pasts, gives way to new opportunities. This is not different in Casanova.
It is like a box; if you look deeper inside, you will find an ocean of unexpected knowledge and capabilities. It is important to understand the past in order to improve the future. In this way, Casanova is comparable to South Tyrol, the meeting point of Italian and Austrian culture, tained and shaped by its unique past. There is general prejudice towards the neighbourhood and its residents. Instead of placing the neighbourhood and its past into a box, we need to understand their situation. We need to dig deeper into their history, understand their struggles and their achievements, which have formed their present.
I explored and communication the historical context of the neighbourhood and its residents and present this in the form of posters and a website.
